Location Highlights
Lake City offers access to North Florida outdoor destinations and regional travel routes. Ichetucknee Springs State Park is about 20 miles from Lake City and is known for tubing, paddling, and clear spring-fed water. Osceola National Forest borders the area to the east and provides miles of trails, camping, and wildlife viewing in a quieter inland setting. The city sits near Interstate 75 and Interstate 10, giving convenient access to Jacksonville in about 1 hour and Gainesville in about 1 hour for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
